Learning Log # 30

Week 30

We played lots of piano, enjoyed his reptile class, talked to Dad in Nepal at night before bed (the start of his day there) and in the morning (the end of his day there!). Being in opposite sides of the world is weird.

We also did several math lessons and a lot of reading this week!

We had a little health unit this week. We’ll be having more and more of these as puberty comes more into play!

He had 400 homeschool bucks in the bank long enough to earn 100 in interest plus what he’d earned from the week! That allowed him to purchase the trip to the store for a $40 item - and this was his choice!

Dad is in Nepal for two weeks! He had a 10 hour layover in Hong Kong on his way there. He’s so far away from us!!

Flowers that Dad got us before he left

Extra snuggles while Dad is gone

Getting ready to take on the snow!

He accumulated three lost teeth for the tooth fairy, lol

Snapchat filters are funny

Zupas after gymnastics!

One more Snapchat filter - he’s a handsome knight!

And here are a few pictures from Brian’s adventures! He got to celebrate Holi! Our friend, Clint, works with several orphanages in Nepal and Brian donated magic for a fundraiser for the orphanages. The fundraiser went really well and Brian went to Nepal with Clint to distribute more donated magic to the kids in the orphanages. They got to celebrate Holi with the kids at one of the facilities! He said it was an amazing experience. They are at another orphanage this week, higher in the Himalayas. It’s been quite the adventure. We may join him on this adventure next year!
