South Family Homeschool - 6th Grade!

  Week 3 Daniel spent most of the week with a fever. And these pictures uploaded in reverse order! 🤦🏼‍♀️ But, the beauty of homeschooling is that even when he’s sick, we can still get things done! We (I, lol) got our homeschool room cleaned up and ready for when we get back into the full swing of things! We finished Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters and started on The Titan’s curse. We observed a praying mantis eating a grasshopper (eww, but also fascinating!), Daniel made magic wands to help out and also earn money, Daniel mowed the entire lawn by himself, and had a perfect practice week with piano!  We are getting ready for a trip to TX/OK this weekend too! 

  Learning log # 1 Ecosystem for a garter snake from our creek, complete with grasshoppers, earwigs, rollie pollies, greenery, water and hiding places! Working on his hover disc New gymnastics class! Daniel is so strong! First lost molar! We are easing into the school year this month but we are making sure to tackle each subject every week!
