Week 40

Week 40! Today (May 17) is Daniel’s last day of 4th grade!! On Monday we had his last shopping day. He traded 400 homeschool bucks that he had saved for a trip to Walmart to purchase any item that is $40 or less. He chose this net so he can use it to catch fish at the creek. 😂 This week has been a “Brazilian rice and beans” week! All week long, this has been our dinner. So SO yummy! Daniel’s last gymnastics performance for a group of seniors in Genola! Piano recital! Daniel rocked it! He played Beethoven’s 5th Symphony and This Land is Your Land.  We are going to Virginia next week to visit my sister. Daniel really wants to go snake hunting there. I told him he needed to do some research about the snakes in that area and write me a report so his Aunt and I will feel more comfortable letting him hunt snakes. He knocked it out of the park! He is very proud of himself. ❤️ Final Tinker Crate! A very cool labyrinth!

Week 39

Week 39 At the processional for Officer Hoosier on Monday  It was touching to see how many law enforcement vehicles from so many agencies across Utah were a part of this.  We’ve been working on probabilities in math! These were our findings from flipping a coin 10 times Then we rolled a die 20 times! His dance for gymnastics  On the high bar! On the rings! He’s just too cool! His “snake tie” He built this fort for his snake to climb on 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 Practicing his recital pieces for his piano recital at the church - this is his favorite to play  Mother’s Day! And we also celebrated his birth mom on Saturday on Birth Mother’s Day. ❤️

Week 38 Face swap filter! Daniel loves looking for and identifying all kinds of bugs in the spring so I will find a lot of these pictures on my phone When Brian has to go out of town, he always makes sure to get flowers. This time he got a LEGO set for Daniel to set up! All the tiny plants! We are getting so close to the end of the school year! We are finishing up different curriculum requirements and getting ready for concerts and performances. Spring is busy and so much fun!
