Week 11 Building his coin spinner Crunch Lab! BYU game! We love the Battys! Go #92!! Cheering, or trying to catch a football is more likely lol  Brian taught Cosmo a magic trick - so he got to be in the field as Cosmo performed it!! I love him. And he loves these giant balls - they are not my favorite, but he is!! Daniel rescued the last watermelon of the season and cut it up and enjoyed it! That kid. 🤦🏼‍♀️ He rescued a mouse from a neighbor cat’s clutches and wanted to keep it forever.  It escaped under our deck so he spent a lot of time clearing out rocks and looking for it.  He never did find it, lol  It was my father in law’s birthday so Daniel performed for this video he made him. Man, he has some real talent for the piano! And I love watching his face as he plays.   We’re doing fourth grade level math this year and Daniel learned how to multiply multiple digit numbers by multiple digit numbers! This is the scrap paper he used as he was doing his l...

Week 10 We went on a nature hunt with our little friend and Daniel was so good with him! They were looking for fish or caterpillars, but they had no success.  They did find some pretty impressive spiders, though! The Seek app identified this one as a labyrinth spider.  Ready to cheer on the Cougars!! Daniel developed a new popcorn delivery system, lol.  I love seeing him read Hatchet.  We watched another little friend this week and, once again, I was pleased with how much Daniel enjoyed him and how sweet he was with him.  A few of our friends were on fall break this week. Brian came up with idea that they could help assemble these bags of blocks (that are magic tricks) in exchange for a trip to rock climb at The Quarry! They were all in on this idea.  And they even left funny messages for our customers to find, lol! They did it! He loves rock climbing and is really quite good at it! We also got his 5th grade pictures back! 💚

Week 9 We love General Conference weekend! This spread is our tradition. The days are like holidays at our house and Daniel just eats whatever he wants! We also give him a list of words to listen for each session. Once he has heard all of them, he earns a new coloring book or Lego set! His favorite plate, lol.  And we finally decorated for fall/Halloween! Good friends, hanging out Monday was another shopping day, but this time Daniel decided to invest 100 homeschool bucks in the bank of mom instead of spending it all! He found another snake at our creek. I don’t know how he does it.  Working on his math lesson! Looking for turtles at Spring Lake. He found some, and a giant catfish too (he thinks!).  This little guy was found in our creek - a sucker fish of some sort.  Brian is finally on land after crash landing in a lake. I love watching him read Hatchet! Working on more math! Playing the piano with his legs up and his eyes closed! 🤦🏼‍♀️ But his teacher sai...
