Week 27 Snowy day geode cracking! He took this lock apart and put it back together several times! Loving his new multi-tool He’s reading Mystery in Rocky Mountain National Park, the first book in the national park mystery series! Love it when he helps! He insists the snake was not choking him but I have my doubts! This is a false water cobra, a mildly venomous snake that Daniel got to hold at his reptile academy class! Struggling with adding our mixed fractions. Not every day is a good day but we keep going! Lots of bird watching!

Week 26 We are still working with fractions in math, we’re composing music as well as playing it in piano, we’re learning all about reptiles in a very tactile way in science, and we’re doing our Nessy and reading lots of Dogman books! Plus we’re looking forward to our next Crunch Lab box! Daniel is composing an original piece of music in his piano lessons! He and his teacher got to work up the first part of it this week - so cool! Snow days and dads who help build forts are the best.  Daniel made sure our bird feeders were all full and the treehouse was all shuttered before the storm! His current favorite class  Crazy Super Bowl antics Super Bowl spread! Quiet church activity Valentine cookies!

Having no siblings makes having dinner with friends even more special! It was fun to see him with so many like-minded kids.  He was like a kid in a candy store - only it was Daniel in a reptile class! That face! So much to see! This is a rosy boa.  His mystery item from the homeschool store was a giant Hershey kiss! That made him pretty happy, lol.  I love catching him reading He finished his goal of making 50 bags of wands so he could get his new bike! Which already has a popped tire, by the way. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Always suited up! I love it when he helps! We made crepes and I needed th...
