Learning Log #11

 Week 11

Grappling hook!

Daniel and his dad made this grappling hook - and it works!

A quick picture of one of the poses in the Moana play Daniel is in - this is from the “Shiny” number.

Building a Halloween clubhouse in our front yard!

Daniel decided to build a food chain!

Daniel bought this insect photo book in the homeschool store this week. He’s going to do a report on one of the bugs he is learning about!

He also bought this replica dagger from Medieval Times - he was soo happy to have finally earned this!

In this lesson, he was supposed to see if he could play with his eyes closed - he can!

We have started learning about decimals and how they relate to fractions - and Daniel is nailing it!

In this piano lesson, Daniel had to play blindfolded!

Daniel has a pet snake and whenever we get new mice for him, we also get dry ice!

Daniel got to go through an amazing Jumanji VR experience! It was awesome!

Daniel’s highlights!

On a personal note, next week I am having surgery. We will be doing a little less homeschooling as I recover but we plan to still do reflex math every day, he will work on his insect report, he will practice piano every day, he will build a tinker crate, and he will build with a lot of legos! But next week’s Learning Log blog might be a little lite on pictures. 😬
